My WrestleMania XXVIII thoughts & predictions
I haven’t made a wrestling-related post in a while so i’ll just quickly give my 2 cents regarding WrestleMania this year.
The Rock vs. John Cena is the match that sells the tickets and pay per views but I truly believe that the WWE Championship match between CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho will STEAL THE SHOW!!!
Triple H vs. Undertaker in HIAC with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee should be interesting although I feel that Shawn Michaels involvement is uneccessary as I want a showdown & outcome of this match to be “pure” as ‘Taker would say.
Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus should be a great one. I hope Danielson retains but that’s just my personal opinion.
I like that Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny is featuring some great mid carders. I do hope Ryder gets a spot on Teddy’s team because he deserves a spot on the main card. I also hope the match gets alot of time so everyone involved can shine and create their respective WM moments.
I like the buildup for Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes….I’m rooting for Show to finally get a W on his WM record…and a classic Intercontinental championship title to go along with it.
Can we just get rid of the girl from Extra and bring in Kharma, Tamina & Natalya to join Beth Phoenix, Eve Torres & Kelly Kelly and just have a 6-Diva tag match or 6-way dance for the Divas championship?
RKO vs. Kane will be my bathroom and cigarette break….maybe fix myself a sandwich.
To be honest, I haven’t watched wrestling religiously the past year and i’ve only managed to catch up with what’s going on in the last few weeks via wrestling news sites and YouTube. I’m just now starting to get myself excited for the show and hopefully WrestleMania this year can rekindle my passion and love that I may have lost for pro wrestling/sports entertainment in the last year.

Just found out I might be on TV tonight on Master of the Mix on BET. Show airs at midnight on BET. Tonight’s episode is the “yacht party challenge”. I’ll be wearing a yellow “peachy folder” shirt and i’m posted near the front of the DJ booth. Look out for me.
*In an unrelated note: One year ago today, I made my television pro wrestling debut for NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood losing to Joey Ryan in a squash match. (Check out my first post to watch the full match.)
